They will gain the knowledge required to use DSLR cameras in manual setting and will learn how to achieve the best photographic results through the manipulation of Shutter Speed, Aperture and ISO. They will develop skills working with Lightroom and Photoshop to edit their images using a range of techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Photography A:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Photography A is structured as the entry point for the senior photography subject pathway and is the best choice for students wishing to select only one semester of Photography in Year 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this program, students will develop the skills to get the best results when shooting in a variety of natural and artificial lighting scenarios with a focus on camera techniques including exploring exposure times, aperture range, close up techniques, freelensing, architecture, landscape and portrait photography. Students will also develop a range of creative post processing techniques using Photoshop and Lightroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s Performance Standards, as outlined by the SACE Board. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tasks included<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Skills and Application tasks \u2013 40%<\/li><li>Design Development (Folio) \u2013 30%<\/li><li>Solution Realisation (Product) \u2013 30%<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is beneficial for students to have their own DSLR but school ones are provided.
