Students must complete an eligibility form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Content:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students develop an understanding of how Chinese is used effectively and appropriately by using various combinations of the skills of listening, speaking, viewing, reading, and writing for a range of purposes in a variety of contexts. Students explore a range of prescribed themes and topics from the perspectives of diverse individuals and groups in the Chinese-speaking communities and in their own community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three prescribed themes include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>The individual<\/li><li>The Chinese-speaking communities<\/li><li>The changing world.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s Performance Standards, as outlined by the SACE Board.
