It is designed for students who want to develop skills to become a strong advocate and mentor for others. The subject prepares students to become peer leaders so they can facilitate activities and take on a mentor role with Year 7 students through their transition to high school. They will work with Year 7 Home Group teachers to deliver the Year 7 Pastoral Care Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will be given opportunities to work with others as part of a team to lead activities that enhance engagement, wellbeing and connectedness for Year 7 students and develop their own capabilities. This will also develop students\u2019 understanding of their identities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the Stage 1 Exploring Identities and Futures performance standards, as outlined by the SACE Board.
