This course incorporates a two-day trip to some of South Australia\u2019s most iconic tourist destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the semester students will explore the history of the Australian tourism industry; the social, economic and environmental impacts of tourism; and the role of government and organisations in tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment:<\/strong> Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s Performance Standards, as outlined by the SACE Board. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes. Students understanding and skills will be assessed in a variety of tasks that may include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Practical activity: Interview and Report<\/li><li>Source Analysis: Illustrated Essay and Source Evaluation<\/li><li>Case Study: Oral and Visual Presentations<\/li><li>Investigation: Extended Written Response<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Leads to: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/curric.uhs.sa.edu.au\/index.php\/stage-2-business-innovation\/\">Stage 2 Business Innovation<\/a>.
