Please visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sace.sa.edu.au\/coordinating\/admin\/information-sheets\/05\">this site<\/a> for detailed information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Content:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students develop the skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and information and communication technologies to create and engage effectively with a range of spoken, written, visual, and multimodal texts in Spanish. They develop and apply linguistic and intercultural knowledge, understanding, and skills. Students reflect on their own attitudes, beliefs, and values, and develop an understanding of how culture and identity are expressed through language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students explore three interconnected themes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Relationships<\/li><li>Lifestyles<\/li><li>Experiences<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014 from the perspectives of \u2018The personal world\u2019 and \u2018The Spanish-speaking communities\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Spanish Beginners is an interstate assessed subject developed from the Collaborative Curriculum and Assessment Framework for Languages (CCAFL), which is a national model for the teaching, learning, and assessment of language subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s performance standards.
