This course offers students a pathway into industries such as engineering, architecture, industrial design, manufacturing, interior design or a trade. Using the latest 3D modelling programs students develop their skills with 3D modelling and the production of engineering drawings as part of the product design process. Students also develop skills using FEA and Fluid Design, tools that allow products to be virtually tested before manufacture. Students engage in the design process and produce written folios that include investigations into materials, production techniques and product design.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Assessment:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s Performance Standards, as outlined by the SACE Board.
