What are your colours?&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Year 8 Visual Art, you will accelerate your learning by engaging with a wide range of art forms and ideas that encourage creative and critical thinking. Through practical and conceptual tasks, students will explore their personal and social world, challenge ideas, and communicate visually.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You work with both traditional and contemporary media such as <\/span><b>drawing<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>painting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>sculpture<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>digital art<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. You will also gain experience in public exhibition, with opportunities to work alongside artists and exhibit in school and community spaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Assessment:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s Achievement Standards as outlined in the framework of the Australian Curriculum. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes.
