{"id":7854,"date":"2026-06-29T10:50:09","date_gmt":"2026-06-29T01:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/curric.uhs.sa.edu.au\/?page_id=7854"},"modified":"2026-06-29T10:51:48","modified_gmt":"2026-06-29T01:21:48","slug":"year-7-8-mathematiques-fbbp","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/curric.uhs.sa.edu.au\/index.php\/year-7-8-mathematiques-fbbp\/","title":{"rendered":"YEAR 7 &#038; 8 MATHEMATIQUES (FBBP)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Length:<\/strong> Full year<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This subject is part of the French Bilingual\/Binational Program and is taught English and in French.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Prerequisite:<\/strong> Students must have been accepted into the program to study this subject and have age -appropriate Mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Year 7 &amp; 8 Mathematics (FBBP) program is based on concepts identified in the Australian Curriculum and aims to develop students\u2019 knowledge, skills and understandings as described in the achievement standard for years 7 and 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Topics include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Whole numbers &amp; Operations<\/li><li>Fractions, Decimals and percentages<\/li><li>Introduction to Algebra<\/li><li>Writing and solving equations<\/li><li>Angles, lines and shapes<\/li><li>Percentages and Financial Mathematics<\/li><li>Measurement:&nbsp; Length, area, perimeter and volume&nbsp;<\/li><li>Statistics and provabilityRatios and rates<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment:<\/strong> Students\u2019 work will be assessed against the Australian Curriculum. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes. There will be a minimum of two different assessment tasks per term.
