Content:
Stage 2 Business Innovation is based around the exploration of three key concepts: designing business, sustaining business and transforming business. Students will be using a hands on approach, through analysis and investigation of current businesses and how they can apply this knowledge in a real world setting. Students will use this knowledge to continue to develop their own entrepreneurship whilst developing crucial skills in critical, creative and design thinking. There will be many opportunities for students to investigate the concept of innovation, practice decision making, exercise financial literacy and analyse the impact of local, global and digital perspectives within modern business environments.
Assessment:
Students’ performance will be determined according to the subject’s Performance Standards, as outlined by the SACE Board. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes. Students understanding and skills will be assessed in a variety of tasks that may include:
