Year 11 at Unley High School marks the beginning of students’ SACE journey, with students completing 110 SACE credits through a combination of compulsory subjects and a broad range of elective choices. All students undertake Activating Identities and Futures (AIF), a literacy subject, and a numeracy subject, while selecting additional subjects aligned to their strengths, interests, and future pathways, including university, vocational, or employment options. Students can choose from a wide range of subjects across the Arts, Design and Technology, Humanities and Social Sciences, Health and Physical Education, Languages, Mathematics, and Sciences, with opportunities to include Vocational Education and Training (VET). Subject selections are supported through course counselling interviews in Term 3 to help students plan a balanced and successful senior school pathway.
Full year subjects count as 20 credits and semester subjects count as 10 credits. For the SACE students must choose:
- 20 credits from a range of English or English as a Second Language courses
