In Year 10 Drama: Develop artistic and creative skills, non-verbal and verbal communication, and collaboration in individual and group settings, gaining confidence! Explore using materials, methods, and technologies to experiment with theatrical styles, genres, characters, and situations. Attend incursions/ excursions to view films, performances, and workshops led by industry professionals, gaining industry knowledge. Work towards a whole class production (onstage or offstage) to apply learning through a class performance for a real-world audience in an authentic theatre space.
Assessment:
Students’ performance will be determined according to the subject’s Achievement Standards as outlined in the framework of the Australian Curriculum. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes.This includes assessment of achievement in exploring and responding, developing practices and skills, creating and making, presenting and performing.
Additional Fees: $25 per semester
