In year 10 Drama, develop artistic and creative skills, non-verbal and verbal communication, and collaboration in individual and group settings, gaining confidence! Explore using materials, methods, and technologies to experiment with theatrical styles, genres, characters, and situations.
Go beyond the classroom by attending live performances and taking part in hands-on workshops with industry professionals. Put your learning into action as part of a whole-class production, choosing an onstage or backstage role and experiencing the excitement of presenting a performance to a live audience in an authentic theatre setting.
Assessment:
Students’ performance will be determined according to the subject’s Achievement Standards as outlined in the framework of the Australian Curriculum. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes.This includes assessment of achievement in exploring and responding, developing practices and skills, creating and making, presenting and performing.
